St. John the Evangelist and St. Edward serve Catholics and their neighbors in the towns of Northfield and Williamstown as well as the surrounding communities. All are welcome to participate in our Masses, Faith Formation programs, and many parish and community events. Father James Dodson, Pastor of both parishes, opens wide the doors of our churches inviting everyone to experience the warmth of our faith and parish communities.

St. John the Evangelist has served the faithful of Northfield, Vermont for over 160 years. The parish community supports each other through daily Mass, a prayer line, coffee hour following Sunday Mass, and a vibrant faith formation program for all ages. The parish has been a proud particpant in the annual Northfield Crop Walk for more than 5 years providing support for all those in need of food, water and education around the world.

The St. Edward parish serves the faithful of Williamstown, Vermont through Sunday Mass, a very active Ladies of St. Anne group who sponsor monthly coffee hours following Mass and many other events, and an energetic faith formation program for all ages. 

Both parishes support their local food shelves and offer assistance to all those in need in our communities through prayer and generosity. We invite all to join our loving parish families and hope that you will find the many activities and ministries that are available rewarding and uplifting. Our remarkable histories pave the way for our bright futures.
